Santa Pola is a Spanish cozy fishing village with about 40,000 year-round residents and living all year round. Everything you need is here as well as 100s of restaurants. 10km long promenade and unlimited beaches along the entire city. The popular marina with all restaurants, the taxi boat harbor where the boats take you to the Mediterranean island of Tabarca in about 15 minutes. The fishing port where the fishermen sell their catch which consists of everything you can find in the Mediterranean such as shellfish, fish of all kinds, squids etc.
All this to the south and behind Santa Pola are the salinas with salt production and nature reserves for lovely walks and Mediterranean nature. Large market 2 times a week all year round and the market hall which is open Mon-Sat all year round.
15 min from Alicante/Elche airport, 20 minutes from the city of Elche and 20 min from the city of Alicante.
